Settings > Ownership > Delete account
Using the Delete Account function, you permanently remove your company account from the Swiss21 portal along with all its data and applications. After initiating the deletion, the account remains active until the end of the current month; on the 1st of the following month, the last month is billed and your stored credit card is charged. The account is then permanently deleted and no further costs are incurred. To confirm the deletion, you must enter the exact company name in the dialog and then click Delete.
Benefits
- You fully cancel your Swiss21 company when you no longer need the services.
- Signing in again with the same login credentials will create a new, empty account, so no old business data remains visible.
- The permanent deletion reduces open obligations such as future subscription fees.
Notes and tips
- Before deleting, check whether you need to export or archive your data; you can request a data transfer of your customer data before it is permanently deleted.
- Make sure that you are actually the account owner, as only the owner can initiate the deletion; alternatively, you can first transfer the ownership rights to another person via Transfer Ownership.
- Note that certain data may not be deleted immediately due to legal retention requirements, but only after the retention periods have expired.
- If the Delete Account button is disabled or a note about a final billing appears, please wait for this billing to complete; the permanent deletion can then be carried out.
