Payment method

On the Billing page you can register a payment method that will be used to automatically charge your paid Swiss21 subscriptions and additional services. Once a payment method is registered, all booked options are billed on the 1st of the following month for the previous month.

How to register a payment method

Click the Register payment method button in the Payment method section. A secure Payrexx window opens where you can select the desired payment method. After completing the process, you are redirected back to the Swiss21 portal. Once verification is successful, the portal displays a confirmation that a payment method has been registered and future billing will be processed automatically.

Available payment methods

  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • PostFinance Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • American Express
  • Diners Club
  • Discover
  • Twint

Benefits of a registered payment method

With a valid credit card, you can activate paid subscriptions, add users, or use additional payroll runs beyond the quota included in your plan at any time. Billing is processed automatically. On the Billing page you can transparently view all issued invoices with date, status, and amount, and download them if needed.

Tips and recommendations

  • Without a registered payment method, only the free services can be used; paid upgrades or additional payroll runs are not possible.
  • Make sure your payment method is valid. If it expires or is blocked, costs cannot be charged. After the 3rd unpaid invoice, your account will be suspended.
  • If you cancel your account, a final billing will be created on the 1st of the following month; afterwards, the credit card is removed from the portal and no further costs will arise.
  • If adding the card in the Payrexx window fails, check your card limit, 3-D Secure / online authorisation settings with your bank, and then try again or use a different card.
